Kansas City Business Journal Honors The Weaver Luxury Town Homes with Capstone Award.

The Weaver, developed by UC-B Properties and Berman Leather, and built by Capital Builders is a 2026 Capstone Awards honoree in the multifamily category. Situated on a former half-acre parking lot near 19th and Locust streets, The Weaver’s 13 townhomes were designed to rise vertically rather than extend outward to maximize the site's limited footprint. To fit a project like this in a very densely populated urban area, we went four stories tall instead of a standard three-story design,” HJM Architects Principal Bethany Dyche said." Each townhome features red brick, premium fixtures, warehouse-style windows, a two-car garage with electric-vehicle charging infrastructure and a private rooftop deck with skyline views."

The Weaver is the first development to offer for-sale luxury townhomes in the Crossroads. Other housing in the area is mostly apartments and for-sale condominiums.
